The Fund-It Opportunity

Over the past 20 years I have started and sold numerous businesses. I am currently a semi-retired business consultant. Roughly 7 months ago Fund-It contacted me looking for help launching a new business. Fund-It is by far one of the most interesting businesses I have ever been apart of. A company based on new patent-pending technology that has an exclusive contract with Yahoo! The idea is simple but unique. Fund-It allows any organization to benefit from Pay-Per-Click advertising simply by having supporters download their BenefitBar onto their Internet Browser. Over the past 7 months, I have had an active role in developing what I consider to be one of the most exciting and family friendly opportunities I have ever seen. At the time I was contacted by Fund-It, the company’s primary focus was working with large non profits. Such as: The United Way, The Salvation Army and USO to name a few.

I agreed to become a consultant for Fund-It on three main conditions:

• Fund-It would become NCHBC’s TV sponsor.
• We would develop a program that would be available to faith based ministries.
• We would develop a program for a consultant that is risk free.

Over the years I have had a unique look at home based businesses:

• 95% of people who get involved in home based businesses lose money.
• Many of the people who get involved in home based businesses are sold on a “can’t miss opportunity.”
• The only way to build a successful home business is that it must have long term residual income so you don’t have to continually recreate your income.

Why Fund-It is a viable program for HomeSchool families:

• There is a complete training system for success for all consultants.
• All training is free.
• Fund-It helps organizations that need funds.
• There is no fee of any kind to be a Fund-It Consultant.
• Fund-It is a free program so our consultants never have to sell anything. Just tell people about Fund-It.

Fund-It is specifically designed with the following groups in mind:

• Fathers looking to develop a second income.
• Mothers who want to work from home.
• Students wanting to learn how to run a business or just looking to earn extra cash.
• Families looking to earn money to attend Nationals (it is too late to help for 2009 but you can start earning for 2010).
• Parents who want to teach their children about financial responsibility.
• Families looking to earn additional income together.

Background

When Cheryl and I decide to HomeSchool our four sons, we did so for the same reasons many of you are HomeSchooling today. I wanted to spend more time with my family and have an opportunity to be involved in my kid’s lives. So when the opportunity to coach the kids came up, of course I jumped at it. At that time, I firmly believed that we had an advantage over other non-HomeSchool teams. The advantage was the involvement of the family.

During my nine years as Executive Director of the National Christian HomeSchool Basketball Championships (NCHBC) one of my main goals has been to make sure we do everything we can to keep Nationals a family event. As the economy tightens, our staff has continued to be proactive in helping families. Our goal is to help families so that finances do not affect family's participating in Nationals.
